2014

Tested and started to promote jumbo paper clips, hat brim clips, and continue to keep the interest in the experiment and research of other products related to shaping technology.

Hi, I'm Jack Chou (legal name: Zhou Zhedong), the founder of CustomPaperClips by DuoDuo Handicrafts.

Back in 2008, I started this journey in a small garage workshop, simply because I was fascinated by how a plain piece of wire could be bent and shaped into something fun and useful. There was always that little “aha” moment every time a flat, ordinary metal strip transformed into a cute animal, a cool logo, or a whimsical shape—suddenly it wasn't just a paper clip anymore; it became a tiny piece of joy with real practical value. That sense of wonder still excites me today, even after all these years.

Turning a client's logo into a custom shaped paper clip feels incredibly creative and meaningful—it's like giving their brand a playful, tangible identity that people actually use and remember every day. Of course, the road wasn't always smooth: early on we faced challenges like material inconsistencies, shipping delays to distant countries, and learning how to balance small-batch creativity with reliable quality. Those hurdles taught me patience and the importance of listening closely to customers, and they only made the successes sweeter.

Over time, we've kept innovating: adding vibrant colors and premium materials, developing jumbo sized shaped paper clips for standout impact, decorative binder clips, printed flat metal clips, and even paper clip bookmarks that double as thoughtful gifts.
